Nanovor is a browser-based, turn-based creature-battling game developed by Smith & Tinker, Inc. Players collect and train microscopic, silicon-based monsters—called Nanovor—then build custom squads to face off in tactical matches against AI opponents or other players online. Each creature features distinct stats and attacks, encouraging strategic team composition, combo planning, and risk-reward decision-making. Progression centers on unlocking additional Nanovor and abilities through play and digital content.

The game also supported an optional handheld “Nanoscope” accessory that connected via USB, allowing players to battle, practice, and sync their squads with the online experience. Originally released in the late 2000s, Nanovor’s official online service has since been discontinued.

Nanovor is developed by Smith & Tinker, Inc.. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 0.8, 0.8 beta, 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. The name of the program executable file is Nanovor.exe.

This program is amazing. With all the official channels dropping support like a dead pet and all the unofficial channels releasing patch after patch that're always low-quality and badly documented, it feels so good when you actually find a great, simple program that lets you use your old gear.

If anyone knows how to contact Philip Merwarth, I want to talk to him about getting the code for this program and learning how to do such a thing. There's a whole series of sidewinder joysticks that are much higher quality than the cheap sticks they make today, but they're unsupported on 64-bit systems. Strategic Engine has inspired me to write my own program for them, but I don't know where to start.
